We’re in for world of missteps now.
I’ll leave the man hating Nazi comments for someone else….
Cool, in the meantime we will leave the man loving nazi comments to you!
Congratulations
How did this complete piece of trump trash get here? I DESIPISE TRUMP WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY SOUL. HOW DOES ANYONE STILL SUPPORT AN AGENT OF RUSSIA? MY GOD!!!TRUMP IS NOT ONLY IGNORANT OF AMERICAS HISTORY, TREATMENT OF CHILDREN IN CAGES, NO PAY TO GOV WORKERS, HOW IN JESUS NAME CAN ANYONE SUPPORT THIS TRAITOR!!! HE CARES NOTHING OF ANY OF US. WHEN YOUR EBT HAS NOTHING COME FEBUARY, HOW ARE YOU GOING TO EAT? NO SNAP BENNIFITS AT ALL!!!! FRIGGIN WAKE UP HILLBILLYS! HE DOEN’T GIVE TWO SHITS ABOUT YOU! Thanks kym for letting me rant. But my god. People must wake up. This guy is a sell out. A joke. I do pray on a daily basis for his demise. Mueller can’t come soon enough to save us. We must stand together against this dictator. WE ARE AMERICA STRONG!💪👊👊👊💪💪👊👊👊
“It’s the same story the crow told me; it’s the only one he knows.
Like the morning sun you come and like the wind you go.
Ain’t no time to hate, barely time to wait,
Wo, oh, what I want to know, where does the time go?”
Well I hope Trump and the other traitors get plenty of time. Wo-oh lock ‘em in a ho-ole until they mel-low.
OK, first, I didn’t vote for Trump, but you people are delusional. Please provide actual evidence, not hysterical outrage and “Sources”, like actual evidence that can convict in a real court. How has he acted as an agent of Russia? He has applied more sanctions and military pressure than any other president since Reagan. Every picture of children in cages is from the Obama Admin, which started the child separation program (voted on by all CA dems), an extension of the CPS system. He is just continuing a program progressives started, taking kids from severely negligent parents that endanger minors, like dragging them across the 2nd most dangerous country on the planet to face the most dangerous border in the world using underworld human trafficing to see if it goes OK. I assume you are one of the people that supports this. EBT and snap, I supported my family on $12k last year, but I am not going to impress you with the lessons of not going into debt, seeing my support for community coming back, and living within my means, meaning my children aren’t spoiled and respect the environment and not waste. There is so much to offer for those that open their minds that SNAP ans EBT close….sad…your ilk created slaves from natural animals. Your misguided policies and lying politicians have created the most inequality in the world (your dems have all the millionair’s and policies now and you can’t see it) the highest healthcare costs by 200%, the highest real estate costs, the highest homelessness, the highest education by far (enacted by Hillary and Frank) and vacated bankruptcy through Hillary. You create disease from your EBT hot dogs and nuggets, section 8 carpet, CIA meth and heroin supplied freely through unsavory lots we push our military kids to unseat. You are as bad or worse as the republican’s with their corpratism and Hillary is a Corpratist as bad as the worst republican!!! Trump is an idiot, and he is no surgeon, but what he does recognize is there is an infection so deep, it requires a lot. People don’t like that and are spreading a lot of disinformation without fact.
Ok, I will wait for my evidence. Show me evidence, not supposition, and I will show you 10x the evidence against Clinton and Obama that the media has never fucking talked about that they are accusing Trump of on any subject matter (or W. Bush). You are puppets. Try and think. Try and look at the person next to you and think, “that person has their own life, kids, domestic situation, just like me. I don’t like getting fucked with, maybe they don’t either. Maybe they will get a better reaction that I don’t shout at their kids that I identify as a salad bowl when they giggle and realize that that person might risk their life dragging my salad bowl out of a burning car one day”…
Unplug, go to a wilderness, start walking for a few days. It will find you.
The child seperation policy started during the Clinton administration :
“Where did the policy come from? In 1997, then-Attorney General Janet Reno settled a lawsuit, Flores v. Reno, filed in California challenging the Clinton administration’s detention of juvenile migrants taken into custody by the INS. In the settlement, the government agreed that it could detain unaccompanied minors for only 20 days before releasing them to the Department of Health and Human Services for placement either in foster care or with their parents, close relatives, or a legal guardian. A controversial decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit extended this 20-day limit to juveniles who illegally cross the border with their parents.”
https://www.heritage.org/immigration/commentary/family-separation-not-trump-administrations-fault
That is not an accurate description of the intent nor execution of 1996 immigration reform act nor of the Flores agreement.
https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2018/jun/21/blog-posting/no-bill-clinton-law-separating-families/
From your link:
“…the California-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in 2016 held that the Flores agreement applies to all minors, not just those traveling unaccompanied. Because the detention centers were considered restrictive, the children had to be released. The Obama administration chose to release parents alongside their children.
The result of these actions left the Trump administration with three options when apprehending a family trying to cross the border illegally: release parents and their children; send parents to prison and release their children; or send parents to prison and their children to child detention facilities overseen by the government.
The Trump administration chose the last option, a decision he reversed on June 20, 2018.”
He chose the most expensive, least humane option, then managed to loose hundreds of children in the shuffle.
What would you do?
You have 1000’s of kids and family’s crossing the border illegally. Those picked up by border patrol are detained. The border patrol doesn’t have the legal facilities (per Flores v, Reno) to house families with kids for more than 20 days. They do have the facilities if they seperate the kids. (BTW all the picts you saw of kids in cages were under the Obama administration )
So, you can seperate the family’s or release the adults and kids together. Of course, for the most part, there is no way to confirm the kids belong to the adults accompanying them. If this is the policy it opens the door for adults to drag kids (related or not) with them to force the US Government to release them into the USA. Kids will become pawns.
If you search online for pictures or videos of the children’s detention centers they look like schools not dog kennels.
Under the Obama admin, separations could only last 72 hours.
Trump’s policies have resulted in children being separated for almost a year.

Jaekelopterus- your link is to an Audible trial sign up. No content.
Regardless, I asked what you would do. The 20 days is the legal limit under Flores v, Reno where kids can be housed with adults in adult facilities.
They can be housed in family or children specific facilities until their legal status is rectified.
So the US has painted itself into a corner through Congress’s refusal to do a politically hard thing- make a reasonable immigration system. Congress is motivated to pass the buck by all the intellectual Chihuahuas who pick their anecdotal evidence of choice and bark, bark, bark the same infuriating note.
Instead Congress has let the courts make a hodgepodge of contradictory rules that are subject to abuse by those willing to manipulate the rules, that disadvantage those willing to try to follow the rules, make it impossible to protect our own citizens and generally clog the bureaucracy to a standstill. Which seems to be the technique of choice for immigration activists.
Trump took ownership of the shutdown from day 1.
The shutdown was his choice.
We don’t negotiate with terrorists.
There was already money for walls and border security. The dems support of technology vs. a wall as border security shouldn’t be ignored by ya.
Until this Trump-down ends, it’s his.
For some reason, this site hasn’t been letting me view or edit my own posts lately.

I guess you have ignored Trump’s public comments throughout his entire public life, the campaign and since, his obsequious attitude toward Putin, his contempt of our allies and NATO, his secret talks with Putin, his plea to Russia to hack Clinton’s e-mails, his constant attacks against American institutions throughout the campaign and continuing.
And avowed racist and religious bigot is no more qualified to be president than racist Steve King is to be in the House. The Birther debacle, the Central Park 5 fiasco, the fines levied against the Trumps for racism in housing, defending the anti-semites and racists in Charlottesville, are just a few examples of an evil, vile,
racist misogynist imbecile who is unfit and unwilling to defend the Constitution of the United States which demands equal freedom for all under law.
It’s fun to talk about programs allegedly started under Obama or Bush Light or Bill Clinton but only Trump has carried hate and evil to this level. Dear Supreme Leader drags this country further into the muck every single day.
You want more proof. Just wait. Be patient just like those of us hoping that the United States will not be held hostage by a maniac much longer. Mueller Ain’t Goin’ Away. The U.S. House of Reps is on the job.
Just keep dragging our beloved nation down into your evil pit. Vladimir Putin toasts you. From the bottom of the Red Sea, Usama bin Laden salutes you. Autocrats and tyrants embrace you.
So proud.
Nonsense. We had a national delusion of unity after the successful ending of WWII where we had pulled together for the common good however much we objected to it. There has never been a time where haters have not had at it. They just generally used to be a little more embarassed about public displays of it. The internet changed that, allowing the emotional, unthinking spew to pass as thought.
Many people felt abused by the liberal imposition of East and West coast political agendas, who had increasingly- arrogantly- decided they were all that mattered. That is what caused Trump. He is simply the fever that the body created to fight off the disease. Fools confuse the fever with the disease. The real culprit is the disease that creates the fever, however dangerous the fever is.
There is a medicine that tastes bad and is only marginally more tolerable than the disease. But will go far to curing the disease. Not unusually there are those who prefer the disease and refuse to take the medicine. The medicine is to be more civil and tolerant of those who differ. It’s practicing what used to be called good manners.
Chuck I also did not vote for Trump.
I also did not vote for Obama or Hillary.
I always vote for losers, like Ron Paul and Ross Perot, Ralph Nader.
I agree that both political sides have extremism, and innacurate facts.
To say right now that Trump is an agent of Russia is to accuse without evidence. It’s not accurate, yet.
But you also can not ignore Trumps attitude and posturing towards tyrants like Putin and Kim Jong, next to degrading important allies.
He’s also just another Saudi-King-Dick-Licker, Khaggoshi for arms sales anyone?
Many people very close to Trump ARE pleading guilty and going to jail regarding the Mueller investigation. Trump may already be indicted, it’s just under seal.
At the same time Trump was asking on TV for Russians to hack Hillary, Russians were attacking social media with lies and propaganda geared towards American minorities, in hopes of them not voting Democratic, like normal.
I posted a link to the Senate Intel report regarding this issue on a previous thread, would you like to see that? It is below, it’s a PDF download from .Gov website, heads up.

I would have hated to see another Clinton in office, and I didnt cave to pressure to vote for her.
Don’t get me wrong.
But we are now in 26 days of a Gov. shutdown, for Trumps wall, which Mexico was going to pay for, that only some people think is necessary at some points geographically speaking.
You know we’re are losing out on prescribed fire burns for this shutdown, right?
How bout threatening our fire relief funds? Is the wall worth it? Are people that scared? Immigrants never killed 86 people in a day and never destroyed 15,000 homes in a day either.
Further:
“The media” is being targeted as the “enemy of the People”.
I see those statements as treasonous, as we are inherently granted to the media through our Constitution.
Something ain’t right fellas.
We missed a great opportunity with Ron Paul. Ironically, the rule changes the RNC implemented to insure that Ron Paul could not challenge Mitt Romney at the convention insured the RNC could not push a last ditch challenge to Trump’s nomination.
https://ivn.us/2016/04/25/rnc-rule-40-donald-trump/
Never have the callous self aggrandizing political hacks been bitten so hard by their own machinations as in the last election. But, if the Republican tried it, it was the Democrats who got away with it. The Republican powers objected to Trump but their rank and file got their way despite it. Rand Paul would have never been elected- Trump was seen as having a chance. The Democrat powers wanted Clinton, blatantly flipped off their rank and file and ran Clinton. Who should have been a non starter and ended up as an also ran. We’ll see if either of the parties learned anything. Apparently their adherents haven’t.
If I read your comment correctly I totally agree.
But I’ll add, Rand is no Ron.
I wouldn’t vote him in for Pres. ever!
I think Rand was the best of the bunch, but I was never excited about him like I was for his father, Ron.
The DNC and Hillary slit their own throats when they ran roughshod over the Dems who were hard core Berney supporters and when they alienated the working-class white males. They did a great job screwing themselves.
When the primaries started I would have picked Trump as the least likely to be POTUS. But, here we are.
It is proven so far that Russia helped elect Trump, destabilizing the US. It is proven that his administration had over 100 contacts with the Russians about this, before and during the election, then lied repeatedly about it. 5 of his people earned jail time because of their dealings, coverup, and lies in the Russian connection.
Whether Trump is directly tied to pulling these strings remains yet to be proven; however, he has gone to great lengths to keep all of his conversations with Putin secret while at the same time cozying up to him in the strange ways we’ve obviously seen. Read the news, listen to the indictments, connect the people and dots. This is truly the short list here. More is to come. Guaranteed.
And keep in mind Trump is a habitual and compulsive liar daily. He cannot tell the truth with over 7,000 lies and mistruths to date. He’s a thug, a bully, and a bullshit con. He’s also not that smart, either, as evidenced by all the goo he’s stepping in of his own doing.
Don’t be duped. Wake up.
“Unplug, go to a wilderness, start walking for a few days. It will find you.”
Funny, your last bit of advice is what I was going to tell YOU!
Go for that walk son, and turn off Fox and Infowars for a while.
Donald Duck liberals- an angry noise looking for a cause and never failing to find one. What will they ever do should they come across a real danger and they have already been at maximum attack all their lives? Like a broken clock, even their anger is right twice a day but it means nothing.
Tweety-Bird-Trump-retweeting-idiots.
This game is so much fun!
Tweety Bird. Yup. I can see that. He always survives and turns the tables on Sylvester J. Pussycat, who lives in a fictional world called Looneytunes. Very apropos.
I see a oversized orange yellow head, who’s addicted to tweeting.
But your additions to the Metaphor are frikin awesome!
Trump is saving our freedoms. Ted Lieu said he opposes free speech, and he would stop free speech, but the Constitution prevents it. He also said he has at least 20 relatives who are illegals. Let’s find out who they are, and ICE them. Ashleigh Judd stood in front of thousands of people in front of the capital, and said Trump has wet dreams about his daughter. Nothing happened to her, as she has free speech and may say what she wants. Try that in Cuba, or any other commie country. Casio Cortez, AKA occasional cortex, wants the Cuban model to be the US. And why do liberals want our guns? Because then they think they can control us. That is a big mistake on their part. Cortez also said Roe V. Wade were two ways illegals get into the US. What is real scary is that there were that many stupid people who voted for such a fool.
Trump married an illegal immigrant.

Trump is no paragon of conservatism. He is a goal oriented pragmatic facing off against those who prefer no achievement at all because that might erode their power fiefdoms.
And that’s why he just appointed a Wells Fargo lawyer to the position of US Attorney.
Do you maybe sense maaaaybe he’s feeding you a line?
It’s the irrational thinking of liberals here that is a hundred times more dangerous than Trump, loose cannon though he may be. Liberals justify Hillary Clinton as a candidate for President even though she represented a rapist that she clearly thought was guilty as it was her job as an an attorney. Yet they turn around to berate Trump for appointing a man who is condemned for also being an attorney representing a client who they think is guilty. BTW I didn’t bother to verify that any of the statements were true as truth never seems to matter with Trump haters and the point in question is the blatant and irrational double standards liberals here apply.
No one can even get to a point of discussing whether the issues are right or wrong because there is no logic from the start. Such lack of good sense and constant hyperbole from his enemies keeps making Trump look like a savior. His deficits are excused because those who hate him and constantly spew inanities about him and his supporters are so much worse, they are much the scarier.
He and his cronies wil and are eating. I see a lawsuit for the no foos issue.
Congratulations Mr. Anderson!
Shak decides he loves bankers today.
its because trump told him to. I genuinely feel bad for the brainwash and the conned, they are going to have a hard time with it.
Trump is way too liberal and leftist, we need a real leader that can get things done.
Love our pres
The best.
Y knot, surely that is a sarcastic remark. Trump is already boarderi g on Hitler like behavior. His total lack of care of our enviroment, for money, is completely disturbing and disgusting. How anyone still supports this asshole, is beyond me.
When you compare Trump to Hitler you lose all credibility with me. Do you even know who Hitler was and what he did?
Reality will still be here if you ever get over your Trump Derangement Syndrome.
“Most men do not desire liberty; most only wish for a just master.” Sallust (86- 34BC).
“Most men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty.” Jefferson 1796
That is too generous. Most people want a master who favors them and that has nothing to do with being just. And most only oppose other people’s liberty if that liberty does displeasing things.
~i don’t disagree. How did we slip so far? Hypnotized in real lies. Newspeak.
The First amendment grants us Media. Read it .
When Trump said the “media” was the “enemy of the people” he became treasonous.
All his other actions and ideas follow traits of past and current dictators of the world.
He’s no Hitler yet. But Hitler wasn’t Hitler until he fooled enough idiots to follow him. That’s where we are at.
I assume your statement about treason is hyperbole. But, if not, Trump has the right to make such statements under the very amendment you accuse him of not upholding.
I dont need to feel angry that you sympathize and defend such statements that berate our Constitution.
It confuses me though.
True, he can say what he pleases (with legal limits) via the first.
But in a court of law, what you say can and will be used against you. So Trumps statements conjoined with actions and evidence could be his own downfall.
Personally, I think it’s disgusting for Trump to say that shit. Hey, let’s pitchfork Kym, she’s media too!
I think you are confused with my sentiments with regards to free speech protections. Free speech is an absolute. It is a freedom that can not be curtailed under the 1st Amendment. A call to action is not the same as free speech and has consequences.
So, when someone says, “I hate all Republicans. ” I will defend (and more importantly the SCOTUS) their right to express that sentiment under their 1st Amendment rights. When someone says, “Let’s go attack Republicans. ” That is a call to action and there are consequences.
Not confused.
Trying to find your position about the remark, as if it was a singular event, though it is not.
We had an extremist shooter kill journalists last year. How far different is Trumps rhetoric this from yelling “fire” in a theatre?
And at what point will reasonable people (like I think you are) call a duck a duck.
You can yell “fire ” in a theater. Especially if there is a fire. If there isn’t you are responsible for the chaos resulting from the call to action, not the speech itself.
With Trump people get hung up on his bombastic rhetoric and ignore his policy. It’s the case with most politicians is people focus on the rhetoric and ignore what they are actually doing. Ignore the rhetoric (sleight of hand) and pay attention to policy.
Policy:
Shutdown govt for an idiots position (because no one argues against border security) and threaten my states fire disaster relief funds while selling arms to the Sauds who kill journalists living in America.
Nice one!
Brian- those are policies worthy of criticism.
I don’t know what the House of Saud holds over the USA (my guess is a threat to stop trading oil in greenbacks) but our friendly relationship with them is hypocritical and atrocious. That relationship goes back a long ways… we’ll before Trump.
As for the shutdown I have no problem with it. The federal government is too big. But it is political games. If the senators and representatives weren’t getting paid through this “shutdown” the budget would have passed. If the USA is a nation-state then border security is imperative. I don’t think a wall is a feasible idea, but we either control our borders or we cede our sovereignty.
The threat to withhold federal disaster relief funds is rhetoric. It didn’t happen. It’s not policy.
So, as long as a dictator loving bigot who incites false fear, real violence, total chaos, and complete distrust in the facts has one or two policies you like….everythings good?
Brian- if you want to address specifics I am happy to have a conversation with you. If you want to make broad, sweeping assumptions about my point of view, and insert your own words into my comments, then I’m done.
I guess, I’m a little off by saying “Everything’s good”.
You did say such incredibly critical words like “bombastic” when describing Trumps hate filled rhetoric.
And you also stated that you’d “wish he’d be more self aware.”
But it’s the “policies” you “pay attention to”.
I’ve pointed out his whack policies of just recently. But that still isnt enough for you to call this guy what he is: a problem.
So, I guess I was a little off, like maybe a hairs worth.
Brian- I addressed the 3 policies you specifically mentioned. One was not a policy.
Sure Trump is a problem. One of a myriad of problems we have including the House and Senate.
I’m more concerned with bureacratic overreach than anything Trump has done so far. At least We the People have an avenue of recourse to push back against the administrative state if we know our Rights.
Cool Ullr,
I think he’s a bigger problem than you do. I have no issue with that. I appreciate your dialogue.
What really ruffles my feathers is ignorant defenses of the president, whoever it be.
You have said Trumps a problem and that’s good for me today.
He’ll add more rhetoric than policies for our conversation debates everyday, guaranteed.
Until next time.
Does it bother you at all when Trump encourages violence? https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/back-trump-comments-perceived-encouraging-violence/story?id=48415766
As your link states “…perceived by some as encouraging violence…”
People are free to “percieve” things how they want and that perception is their own.
Personally I find Trump’s rhetoric to be bombastic, and I wish he’d be more self-aware, but it’s the policies that I pay attention to.
Yes, I challenge you to imagine your kid in this situation and then think that President Trump is not encouraging violence against him: “Get him out,” he said of a protester. “Try not to hurt him. If you do, I’ll defend you in court. Don’t worry about it.”
Kym, I’m responsible for teaching my kids moral understanding, not the President, and not the media. As a parent I take that responsibility seriously. The “think of the children” argument is trite.
I’ve come to think of progressives (a term not accurate at all) as the same as the StayPuft Marshmallow Man. All warm and cuddly in appearance until you are the one it crushes under its giant feet in its relentless progress toward it’s never achieved goal. Blaming the violence on those fighting being trampled is ignoring the destructive giant wreaking havoc.
I gotta say, interesting that this commentor loses credibility for that remark.
But you think Trump is credible by saying theres “good people on both sides” regarding a neo-nazi march in which an innocent woman was run over by another nazi sympathizer.
I dont think your really thinking this through.
If you are, do you plan on conducting trains in the future?
I didn’t take a stance on Trump’s credibility. Please don’t put words in my mouth. Reread my comment. It says what it says, nothing more.
Your “conducting trains” question is out of line.
Then take a stab at critiquing HIS obvious bullshit.
Not taking a stance against tyranny is siding with it.
Many good Germans just didn’t take a stance either.
If say the comment is right on the mark, to drive the point in.
Right on. I will continue to give your thoughts the consideration they deserve. Have a great day.
Cheers to You!
I hope you do too!
Turns out that people who rant the most about the utter immorality of everyone who disagrees with them are the most likely to end the argument with violence. It doesn’t matter what their political identification is. The tendency to blame others is the key.
Hitler had legit followers not force to follow his rules. Yes many were forced. Get in your history book from the college library.
There is fury in the air.
America’s last chance is local.
The federal courthouse next to the Airport in Mckinleyville always gives me the creeps…Now that all the permits for cannabis have been submitted in great detail, the Feds don’t need to do any work to gather all the info. It’s giftwrapped for them, should they decide to act on going after the cannabis mafia.
” . . . should they decide to act on going after the cannabis mafia.”
~it’s Not one of Congress’ nineteen enumerated powers.
“The Tenth Amendment was intended to confirm the understanding of the people at the time the Constitution was adopted, that powers not granted to the United States were reserved to the States or to the people. It added nothing to the instrument as originally ratified.” – United States v. Sprague, 282 U.S. 716, 733 (1931).
What does any of this have to do with the article?
“that powers not granted to the United States ..”
Granted = Given = delegated to =
Powers = jobs= duties=
We the people GRANTED the govt certain defined and limited jobs. Whatever can be given can be taken away or restructured.
We the people RETAINED our rights that come from our Creator. They may NOT be taken away or restructured.
We retained them by SECURING them by creating (WE CREATED) the Central Govt to PROTECT, PRESERVE and DEFEND them.
ALL govts take an oath to abide by the constitution of the US and of their own state which has also sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution. The Constitution LIMITS the govts. They have powers we delegated to them. We have rights that are not to be tread on.
Somebody up above was spreading disinformation by claiming the constitution ‘granted’ us our freedom of speech. GOoOoooO GawWwWd.
Thanks for posting about the 10A. The 9th and 10th are boss. You nail it every time.
It’s how it works in the courts kid!
But go ahead and test your theory:
Walk into the courts, wear shorts, tell the judges their powers are limited, try to walk out as your sovereign self, and enjoy!
Got any updates on media -tinting, odds or lasers? (regarding disinfo)
~here’s the one i was looking for before:
The best key for the solution of questions of power between our governments is the fact that every foreign power is given to the federal government, and to the states, every power purely domestic. The federal government is, in truth, our foreign government.
The way to have good and safe government is not to trust it all to one, but to divide it . . . Let the national government be entrusted with the defense of the nation, and its foreign and federal relations; the state governments with the civil rights, laws, and administration of what concerns the state generally.

Shutdown’s Economic Damage Starts to Pile Up, Threatening an End to Growth
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/15/us/politics/government-shutdown-economy.html
Ullr, earlier you said you weren’t against trumps shutdown because govt. is too big.
But really, Trumps shutdown has nothing to do with, and has no bearing on the size of the Govt. does it?
Really it’s just about his ego. How rhetoric doesn’t fit into critiques is beyond me, really.
What he says has real impacts. Economically and socially.
Build the wall!
~personally, i don’t like walls. I love Mexico and her people. I’ve had nothing but pleasant visits in Meheco, and just one bad deal -on me- w/a thief one.
What if the people we are told are coming, were told they were being chattled/herded for a “Firestorm” annihilation? I mean, i just wonder . . .
Good question! I doubt they would if they knew, but they don’t, so we must protect them the best way we can.
He’s still waiting for them to come in and sign an agreement, but they refuse to meet with him. They’ve been too busy partying with over 100 lobbyists in Puerto Rico on the tax payers dollar.
Calif officials partied in Hawaii with PG&E lobbyists, for rate increases.
Both case scenarios in this article. https://www.theepochtimes.com/state-lawmakers-questioned-for-traveling-to-hawaii-to-meet-with-big-utilities-as-californias-deadly-wildfires-raged_2767581.html
BUT, some good news is also found among the chaos. A special caucus had a nice sit down meeting with the President, and hopefully they worked out a good plan. https://www.theepochtimes.com/trump-has-constructive-meeting-with-house-democrats-amid-partial-government-shutdown_2768514.html
~Good find my man! -and so reprehensible.
“Executives from SEMPRA, parent of San Diego Gas & Electric, were there too.” Stock exchange – SEMPRA.
Second link: “The President and his team had a constructive meeting with bipartisan members of the problem solvers caucus. -I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes for any thing.
I can give credit where it’s due.
I think for all your defenses of Trump it’s a surprise to hear you say that you don’t like walls, love Mexico and the People.
I’m happy you’ve been there and had good experiences.
Thanks for a moment of shared sanity. (Minus the firestorm paragraph)
Maybe the new Federal Attorney is one of those insider resistors and won’t be an orange cocksucker: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/05/opinion/trump-white-house-anonymous-resistance.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage
You ought to be feeling the road rash burn from that slippery slope you apparently think is a good thing. What happens when someone you support has their policies sabotaged by “inside resisters”? When a thousand unprincipled people confuse personal pique with principle? When Benedict Arnolds are glorified? The destruction of any trustworthiness by applying that bankrupt idea that “the ends justify the means” should be clear- sooner or later, it is always ends up being applied against you in turn and used for self aggrandizement. What is really frightening is the number of people who think immediate satisfaction is worth the sacrificing of principle and never understand what went wrong.
Thank you, well said. I said something to same effect when the executive branch was expanding its powers under Obama… “just wait until you get someone you don’t like wielding those powers…”
It’s pretty sad to think that the Republic has ceded so much power to the bureacracies that the bureaucrats have enough power to sabotage anything.
Well said to both ULLR & Guest.
I think it was Lindsey Graham who recently thanked Schumer for stacking the deck when they mistakenly never thought she would lose.
(she did win 325 miles out of 2+ million miles of the US though, tbf).
I think he was making the same point as the rest of us. Never stack the deck! Not only is it unconstitutional, it’s unconstitutional for the very reasons you’ve all pointed out.
So is Trump is a principled conservative Republican?
we are all migrants, my grandfather came legally through ellis island in the early 1900s. we need to block illegal migration of all other countries, not just Mexico, especially all the central American caravans. I like Mexico, but people need to do it legally and not take American jobs, not pay taxes.
