Every Week People in Your Community Give Up a Little Time to Save Lives

Every week in Humboldt County, multiple people save lives by donating blood which is then used in medical procedures. According to the Red Cross, one donation can save three lives.

The Northern California Community Blood Bank was gathering donations at several locations yesterday including in Old Town Eureka.

Like Superman changing in a phone booth, yesterday, several ordinary people entered the Northern California Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile and emerged as lifesaving heroes.

so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Numbers 31:15 And Moses said unto them, Have ye saved all the women alive?
16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord.
17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/aug/30/guatemala-experiments

An article on scientific experiments that treated humans like disposable cattle- actually causing death and suffering in applying scientific method to the human condition. For injecting helpless people, without their knowledge, with fatal diseases to creating pathologic behavior in children to misinterpreted results, science has imposed evil on humanity.

The US Department of Public Health wasn’t setting out to do anything as abstract as “advance science,” they using science as a tool to understand and irradicate disease in the US. The people who carried out those experiments clearly violated the Hippocratic Oath and were punished.

Without knowing the religions of the individuals involved, I don’t know what kind of conclusions you can draw about their religiosity and its relationship to their morality. I do know if they had tried to use religion as a tool to combat disease, they would have used exorcism and animal sacrifices.

Of course they were doing what they did exactly to “advance” science. But the examples of the evils never seems to restrain those who look at anti religion or religion websites to pick up what they think sound like weapons to attack. The point was of course that humans can and do misuse anything, science or religion alike, to harm others. Sometimes inadvertently, sometime deliberately. That does not convict either science or religion of being evil.

The meanest, smallest use is to attack without recognizing that to belittle others. It always reveals the ugliest, most self centered nature of monomania.

” . . . science has imposed evil on humanity.”

$cience via bribe$ = Technocracy. By definition, Technocracy is the science of social engineering. Evil beyond . . .

When businesses make the opportunity for their employees to donate on company time, they too are doing a great service to the community and should be appreciated.

Too bad they dont check for spirochetes/lyme! I could go give blood but whomever gets it will get lyme&co-infections i carry.
Just fyi. They only check for hiv.
So many undiagnosed lyme folks all over country&theyre sprwading it thru infusions. Really look at the potential pathogens you can get from a transfusion, there are many not checked for in blood used for transfusions. Inform yourself before you give and before you get.

Hi there, there are currently no tests that can determine if antibiotics used to treat Lyme was effective. You can donate blood if you have had treatment and no symptoms currently. On that note, NO cases of Lyme disease has been linked to blood transfusion. Would you rather die or have an extremely slim chance of getting Lyme?

“Inform yourself before you give and before you get.” Good advice. Likewise, Educate Before You Vaccinate.

If testing blood for pathogens is any indication of the way pesticides on anti-nature greenhouse grown facsimiles are tested . . . God help us.

Ironically, I’m in the chair at the Blood Bank right now. Donating two units of platelets and one of plasma.
If you’ve never donated, please do so

You can always donate at their building by St Joe’s too. I’ve been donating since I don’t know when. Nothing much to it, they’re good at the arm stick – of course I’ve been stuck for blood workups so many times I’m used to it – a few minutes in the chair, and THEN: FREE COOKIES and PASTRIES, with bottled water. Absolute guilty free sugar – got to build up that blood for next time. I recommend donating blood to everyone who has some. I’ve had no ill effects after any of my many donations. Give it a try.
