Free country. If you have to resort to violence to keep your girl, you never had her in the first place. Also, you will go to jail and have no girl.

Damn. Sad.
Keep in mind he is a juvenile. Treat him accordingly. No matter what he has done, there is time for him to grow and become a much better person.

Your comment makes as much sense as using rakes for “forrest” management.

For your information a rake for the forest is a Bull Dozer with a specific attachment used to rake the forest floor . Look it up . Stop being ignorant and twisting the facts . The Forests need to be managed .

Also so very sad people have to take a tragedy and make it political. RIP young one . Many lives ruined due to impulse.

Rakes exist, but that doesn’t mean the Finns use them for fire prevention. A layer of humus is necessary for a healthy forest.

I dont think so. Most dozers have rippers.

Rakes are handheld.

*There are brush rake attachments for the front of dozers, but again that was not what he meant. He would say dozers, or in Trump-tongue he would say tractors.
Did he ever say he meant “dozer rakes” or something similar?

And we all know that’s not what the idiot was talking about when he was near the “forrest” in “Pleasure”.

I agree turning this post political is stupid, which is why I commented on the “stupid lib” comment!

A somewhat less politically hysterical look at mechanical removal of understory. https://www.fs.usda.gov/treesearch/pubs/40547

But also another opportunity for name calling stupidity.

Hold on.

I clean my forest property. I use chainsaws, followed by heavy equipment for debris removal. I burn the junk (slash).

Do you see how easy it is to explain this process? (That I do actually do)

Let’s just say if that’s what Trump meant, he did a horrible job of explaining something simple.

I think it’s clear he wasn’t talking about “dozer brush rake attachments.”

I’ll concede I’m wrong if you find some better explanation by Trump of what he meant by “rake the forest”.

Thanks

Was the suspect an attendee at the house party in Arcata where Josiah exited this life?

This is another sad ending to a life lived on the fringes of society.

I knew the victim as an 8 year old child and only met again last summer. We were neighbors when he was a kid. I was in high school. I was probably his best friend at the time. Few days went by that he didn’t knock on my door looking for someone to throw a baseball around with, or someone to kick a ball to, or play hide and seek with. Sometimes I would open the door. Sometimes I wouldn’t.

I was not surprised to see how he turned out. I met him again when I was at a local swimming hole with a friend last summer. “That’s your old neighbor Nate” she said. It took a minute, but I aged his face and went through the list of neighbors I have had in my life.

“Oh yeah,” The moment of recognition, “Hi Nate, How’s your mom?”

She was fine. They didn’t talk much, but she was good. He was still friendly. He was always friendly. Perhaps too friendly.

He bummed a beer from me. We parted ways. And now he’s dead.

I am not a psychologist, but I do know that from childhood to adulthood Nate lacked some social skills. The problem is, he was too social, too trusting, too eager to be everyone’s friend. And that probably led to his death.
