Oops…Snow Day May Have Ended Badly

A red Ford pickup rolled over at the bottom of Titlow Hill Road, according to Kehala Williams, a local resident. The incident occurred about 12:20 p.m., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

Though we don’t know why the driver was in the area, Williams would like to remind drivers that people need to be careful in the area when it wintery.

“Drive trucks with 4×4, and stop letting their kids play in the road,” she suggests. “People slide every single time it snows up here and having kids play in the road is a very bad idea…[I]t is getting tiresome having people do dangerous things just to play in the snow.”

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.

Interesting. I’ve been sledding there and up at Horse Mtn for many years and that’s a first. You almost have to try to flip over unless one was trying to 4×4 in the snow off the road and just can’t handle it. That little ditch is what keeps people from sledding into the road. It does look like someone wanted to go sledding with their rig rather than their toboggan.

I park to go sledding at this exact location. this is on the east side of the road. based on the tire tracks you can determine that this individual decided to go all yahoo and bit it bigtime. this vehicle was traveling uphill when it lost control.

Check the tires. Might want to have a bit of tread on them if you’re going to drive in rain or snow…

what’s “tiresome” to me is bitchy, condescending, you-did-wrong attitudes. makes me think ‘go live your own life.’

I was there when he did this. He is on private property and was trying to get sideways and flipped it. He was alright and no one was injured. So all of u being dick heads know what the fuck you are talking about before u start talking all kinds of shit
