RIP. Condolences to his loved ones. Hope the driver gets what he/she deserves from life.
Thank you for your kind words. Our family is broken! Mikey was adopted along with his 5 brothers at a young age by his grandmother who is now 87 years old. He came up north from Los Angeles with his 3 kids. He was hit and ran while he was resting from his travel to get back to LA. He wasn’t a transient like this crap says, but a grandson, brother, and a father! If you would like to help us please visit our GoFundMe page.

They found her
That’s really freaking sad. Sounds like he had a rough life and death. I hope your at peace now and the person’s caught. Only a monster leaves someone to die on the side of the road alone.
Humboldt county is full of monsters. Hit and runs seem to be a common headline these days
Plus alot of bad drivers .
Don’t give your energy to these trolls people, remember, only miserable people write stuff like that and are already recieving their karma for what kind of person they are. Protect your energy and move on!
Youre offensive on so many levels.
Like its worth trying to survive with serious injury for the 5-8 years it takes to actually get disability. Most end up on the street before they get it. If you do get it its not enough to live on unless youve earned a lot of money in your life legally.
RIP i hope he passed quickly, people are really not paying attention behind the wheel!!! So sad.
That’s nice. So they let them blow up some huge grows, don’t bust them or chip up the crop…and then in winter just clean up all the garbage for them? Wow that’s scary! I guess those guys learned their lesson and won’t do that again!
I suspect the wrong article.
Yeah- definitely meant for the grow cleanup on national forest story. I screwed up. Kym let me look like a fool….which I was…touche’, Kym!
Just let me know if you want me to delete a comment.
Kym, I think you need a new section on this site called
“Todays Hit and Run”.
Does anybody actually engage in the activity of driving while operating a motor vehicle anymore?
This is not a passive endeavor, btw.
I was just thinking that, we have more hit and run stories than weed stories these days. What the fudge?
