[UPDATE 5:16 p.m.] Extrication Needed for Traffic Collision South of the Peg House, According to the Scanner
Two vehicles crashed south of the Peg House and north of Leggett on Hwy 101 about 4:06 p.m. A woman is reported to be trapped. Extrication is needed, according to the scanner.
The roadway is impacted by accident.
An ambulance is responding.

UPDATE 4:25 p.m.: According to Cori Reed, a public information specialist for Caltrans, The road is currently blocked but should be clear quickly. The car is being moved from the roadway now.
UPDATE 4:26 p.m.: The CHP Traffic Incident Information Page shows the roadway as now clear.
UPDATE 5:16 p.m.: A tow truck is on its way for a Nissan Altima with major front end damage.
