I saw this happen. The guy was driving like a mad man, speeding between vehicles and stopping super short in heavy traffic. He floored it past me and then cut off the van in front of me and that’s when he plowed into the vehicle seen in the video. Hoping those people are okay. This guy needs to have charges pressed against him.

You should contact the police with that information.

There are just so many accidents on Broadway I don’t think there’s any way to fix it either just glad no one got hurt

I remember when the only traffic light on Broadway was at Wabash and there was no center left turn lane (1968).

Right. When was the last time you read the headlines and weed was substituted for alcohol…I’m still waiting…

There has to be a roadside test developed for weed, which there isn’t yet. The last time I remember a DUI for it was several years ago where a person drove their motor home off the road and the police put out a press release on it reminding the public that, while a person could have a prescription for medical marijuana, it still was not legal while driving.

A bit off topic, but do we need/want another traffic light on Broadway? . . . especially right before the light at the Chevron and the download of traffic from Winco? If you remember there was a 76 Union station at the proposed In/Out location and they had plenty of pull in/pull outs without a traffic light . . . why do we suddenly Need a traffic light at Vigo?? Is it to accommodate the burger business by impeding traffic flow? Broadway is enough of a hazard without installing yet another obstacle.
