Signboard Fire Burning Eastward

The Signboard Fire burning about 6 miles east of Hoopa mostly on the southern slope of the Tish Tang Ridge is still listed as being 30 acres with 15% containment although heat imagery looks much bigger than that.

Firefighters are having to contend with rugged country but fortunately, there are no structures threatened and the fire is only creeping slowly.

The fire is burning hot on its eastern boundary away from the town of Hoopa.
