Mexico is already here. Traitorous dogs like Bergel and HuffnPuff elected or re-elected, and that despicable fratboy Newsome as governor? As a native Californian I am sick to my stomach. That these socialist voters hate America and this state so much they would destroy it from within. My beautiful California is a third world country, just like the cesspool of a city Newsome left in his wake. I would move to Texas, but my aching gut tells me to stay and revolt. Civil War is here.

He’s not bad. Thinks too much for many voters. A sort of embodiment of recent American immigration history.

You comment but don’t know what office he holds? But hey, soy boy is out and Ted is in despite 100 million invested by Hollywood reprobates. By the way, that “party of the people” outspent Republicans by 330 million. Then there’s Newsom, puppet for the Getty empire and liberals bought into it.

Your kin were immigrants once. You could just go back where they came from and leave america to americans.

Your home is still your home no matter how much it is damage by greedy fools. I’m thoroughly American, in fact a living embodiment of every part of it’s history. There is no way to divide one bit from the next. Most whose families have lived in California for than one or two generations can claim that attribute.

And being American, speaking out is a part of my DNA. So I will say that the people who think that government is there to supply their wants are an illness in the body politic. May those who look on government as a necessary evil needed to act as referee between independent individuals keep fighting against the forces of entropy.

Cali has billions in surplus.

Just our unfounded pension liability alone far outweighs our “surplus” and that just just the beginning. We have a estimated several trillion in debt but we’re proud of our 16 billion surplus, that’s a prime example of government for you, red or blue.

That is always the view of those who spend other people’s money. Since they don’t have to do the accounting, they don’t bother with details. And tend to think the people warning of problems are the problems.

And a trillion plus in debt. You forgot that little fact.

Hey Ed, I was going over our accounts today and it turns out we came $200 under budget for monthly expenses, we have a surplus.
But Susie we still owe $150,000 on our house. $20,000 for our car. And you just signed a two-year contract for 2 new smartphones?
Yeah, but we have a surplus and I am going shopping….

It’s no wonder Americans have the largest personal debt ratio in the world.

Wow, one Republican governor in a history of the last 4 decades of the state being under the single party control of Democrats. I’ve watched my entire life from childhood this state regress and opportunity disappear. Its all about big government, reduction of liberty, pay to play business, and high taxes. The wealth gap under this regime has expanded beyond anything during the Robberbarron days to the point it’s rich and poor with no middle and the largest poverty in the nation. But keep voting for Democrats because they are just so great at looking out for the public good and interests.

Fyi. Before you call me a Republican, know I’m a left swinging independent, who is a traditional Democrat, a disaffected now called names by people in that party based upon my sex and color. Cultural Marxism is racist and divisive which is what the Dems have fully embraced.

I just wonder how long money so appropriated will stay dedicated to roads. The prior taxes have already been taken to cover other needs and attempts have been made to divert these funds too. Like rats, politicians always want more and will keep trying to get at it.

It would be nice if the public asks for an accounting from politicians as to why they fail to keep up infrastructure from the plentiful taxes they already take before they approve more. Unfortunately that is too much work for all so it rides until it is too bad to ignore.

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”

Sadly true. Just one generation is protected from trauma and they think that is the natural order. That good flows without having to work.

Well, when China makes their move the American people are going to get a wake up call. I just hope we don’t piss Russia off to the point where they back the Chinese instead of us.
