Juvenile Arrested After Residence Has Front Door Kicked In
About 7:21 p.m., Fortuna Police received a report of a person on the ground yelling for help with someone standing over them in the 2300 block of Newburg Road. According to Sgt. Jason Kadle, a Fortuna resident came home and interrupted a burglary in progress. His front door was kicked in, Kadle explained.
The resident saw “one subject flee from his garage,” the sergeant said. The resident tackled the suspect.
Officers arrived on the scene, eventually sorted out the situation, and arrested the suspect, a juvenile.

It was exciting. Fortuna pd was on scene like swat, guns drawn and went in after the invader(s). I was impressed at how well it was carried out. Sgt Kadle is a good man and The others were on point through out. Good job!!
Oh, Great Gazoo: that means something coming from YOU!
That’s what I’m sayin…
Brazen thieves. Glad victim is ok and lil punk caught
What, no candy?
“Trick or treat mutherfucker!”
There! Proof that “Trick-or-Treat-ing” is an unhealthy cultural trope.
Teaching the kids to blackmail people in their homes then becomes outright robbery…
This is written tongue in cheek, so don’t start yelling at me, folks.
Then why write it, the kids in our community dont have alot to do, so if trick and treating keeps crap like this from happening then bring them on.
Not a lot to do? Bullshit excuse for their actions. I grew up in rural areas and we found things to do. Even when we were bored kicking in a door and stealing never cross our minds. How about society making excuses for these actions is the real problem.
You win!!! lol
Wow
What really upsets me is my “God of War” stats are in evidence and I will probably not see it for a while – fortunately, Netfilx, isn’t saved on the local PS4….Thanks to Fortuna PD for their outstanding response. Hands down great response, professionalism, as we scored one for the good guys.
Wow, I’m glad to hear the resident wasn’t arrested for assaulting a minor ;>)
