EPD Responds to a Reported Burglary in an Empty Building and Finds Marijuana Drying Room
Yesterday about 1:45 p.m., a Eureka Police officer was alerted to a possible burglary in a vacant home in the 1500 block of 5th Street, according to Suzie Owsley, spokesperson for the EPD.
“Officers found forced entry in to two vacant apartments with one of the rooms being used as a drying room for marijuana,” Owsley said. “Only marijuana debris was found in the room.”

Oh ha! I used to live in an ancient house right about where the first picture was taken from. It’s gone now, but we had a goat!
Shocking! simply SHOCKING!! 😉
First they steal somebody’s medical marijuana then they break into abandoned building and dry it Limburger cheese heads brilliant
And how do you know it was “medical” marijuana. Was it your stash??
Joe Dirt smart like in movie.
Just trying to raise up some bus fare to get home.
Any relation to Owsley Stanley?
The cops were told about the grow house in September. They took no action. Fumbling upon it in the course of “investigating” a “burglary” is laughable. Like the FBI with 9/11. Monkey see no evil, hear no evil, etc. ….
