BLM Conducting Prescribed Burn at Lacks Creek Until Friday

This is a press release from the Bureau of Land Management:

Fire crews from the Bureau of Land Management Arcata Field Office are planning a prescribed fire project to improve habitat conditions in the Lacks Creek Area.  Burning will begin Wednesday, Oct. 31, and continue through Friday, Nov. 2, depending if weather and fuel conditions allow for safe and successful burning.
