Structure Fire Near Orick Threatened to Spread to Wildlands

Around 3 p.m., a structure fire was reportedly spreading to the surrounding vegetation near Orick, according to information on the scanner and on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

The structure is reportedly an older building possibly a shed in the area of Orick Hill Lane which is northwest of the town.

However, the most recent information ordered the resources not yet on scene back to their base.
