Corsairs Fall Hard at Cabrillo, Drop to 2-4

College of the Redwoods lost a tough one on the road in football on Saturday afternoon, falling 62-17 at Cabrillo College.

With the loss, the Corsairs drop to 2-4 on the season.

The Corsairs started the stronger of the two teams and led twice, first on a 22-yard Roberto Ortiz field goal a little over five minutes in, and then early in the second quarter when quarterback Moise Francois connected with receiver Mitchell Hopkins on a 22-yard TD pass for a 10-7 advantage.
