Humboldt Outlaw Kart Holding Last Race of 2018 Season on October 13th

This is a press release from Humboldt Outlaw Karts:

One Race Left In 2018 Humboldt Outlaw Kart Season

Eureka, CA (September 18, 2018) – Spectacular weather graced the Humboldt Outlaw Karts this past Saturday at Redwood Acres Fairgrounds. The late-summer sun made for slick track conditions on the 1/8-dirt oval with drivers having to be especially on their game with dust levels being higher than usual. The afternoon’s events were presented by John Fullerton for Eureka City Council and the day was concluded with a barbecue.

The big winners on the afternoon were Corbin Green in the Champagne Attorney Service beginner box stocks, Austin Bartholomew in the Williamson Financial box stocks, Landen Green in the Wes Green Landscaping 125cc/250cc division, Jordan Miclette in the NorCal Automotive 500cc/open karts, Amanda Harp in the Fortuna Wheel & Brake old fart karts and Pete Miclette in the Miclette Family Racing pure stocks. The post-race barbecue featured an awards ceremony celebrating not only the day’s winners but all of the drivers and teams who’ve participated throughout 2018 as well as all of the Humboldt Outlaw Kart officials.

This past weekend’s race was originally scheduled to be the season finale for the 2018 Humboldt Outlaw Karts but an additional race has been added to the schedule. Saturday October 13 will be the last event of the year and will be presented by Schmidbauer Lumber, Incorporated. More information on the race will be posted in the near future.
