[ UPDATE 11:05 p.m.] House on Fire on Humboldt Hill

A house is on fire in the Humboldt Hill area south of Eureka as of around 10:15 p.m. A neighbor says this is the same home that caught on fire on August 14 in the 6300 block of Loma Avenue.

According to the scanner, the Incident Commander has requested that the CHP shut down Loma Avenue.

UPDATE 10:45 p.m.: The Incident Commander said, “We’ve got control.” He also asked for the Humboldt County Sheriff show up to look into the possibility of arson.

UPDATE 10:49 p.m.: According to a neighbor, “Of interest is the back of the house was engulfed the first time. Tonight the front ignited – I saw flames halfway up the window on the first floor, and within seconds everything to the second floor was on fire with flames coming out the windows.”

dammit. I wish there was a little investigating Before reporting. Why did the same house catch on fire twice.

OK I understand. But why no update on Tommy Harwood his acts against children and other people were atrocious I think the community deserves an update on this monster.
