[UPDATE 10:38 p.m.] Fire Alongside Hwy 101 North of Bell Springs Road

Vegetation FireA fire is burning alongside Hwy 101 three miles north of Bell Springs Road at about 9:40 p.m., according to a report over the scanner and on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

A UPS Semi driver is attempting to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher.

UPDATE 10:05 p.m.: A six by eight spot has been put out. Note that the driver said he witnessed someone start the fire.
