Celebrating the Life of Long Time Southern Humboldt School Teacher, Gladys Madsen

This section includes both obituaries and memories. Honoring our loved ones who have died does not end immediately after their passing. We recognize that… so we’re extending our obituary section to include individuals who may have left a long time ago. If you want to remember someone who is gone, either recently or longer ago, please send a photo and a few sentences to [email protected]

Celebration of Life for Gladys Madsen happening on Saturday, September 1st at 11am at the Healy Senior Center located at 456 Briceland Road, Redway, CA (707) 923-2399.Gladys Madsen

Her obituary (Times-Standard) reveals some incredible highs and lows but also a wonderful life. Rest in peace.

Gladys was a kick. She was a gal who said just what she was thinking. I like that in a woman. I can hear her talking now.
