They only play by the rules when someone is watching.
ripped em off and let’em go,,,fucking new age “catch-N-release”
They will face consequences.
Going behind the green gate finally? Brave of them….
no permits = no plants.

For those curious, County Line Creek road is off Hwy 36 and along the Mad River, about 5 miles SE of Dinsmore. There are more than a few greenhouse and open outdoor grows around there and highly visible.
hip to the road itself, any idea what property got popped?
one at the end of a dirt road up off salyer mad river road after ridge road. the county must be cherry picking these raids. its at the end of a road with dozens of grows that are obviously not permitted with major grading. the pond appears between 2005 and 2009 on GE and no grading other than the pond. numerous ponds in this area. this is a tiny grow compared to whats on the road they saw to get to it. you can see the rock above the pond on GE to confirm the location.
800 plants on 3 parcels? Lmao. Wonder what would happen if they hit a “real” grow. Come on cops. You know where the 10,000 plant greenies and 1,000,000 in cash is at…. don’t you?
BFD. That entire Mad River watershed is blown up over there. 3 places is nothing but a drop in the bucket and that is only THAT area! Just follow your Google satellite pictures along the Mad River from Rt. 36 north. It’s crazy blown-up and actually…pretty disgusting. That’s what 15 years of not doing your job at all will do- yeah, looking at you Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. Now you finally actually catch somebody there and you…cite and release them back into the garden area? Okay yeah- everybody’s scared Ha ha ha! CAMP did 20X as many gardens EVERY DAY for years and still only got about half. And that was when we had about 10% as many grows! So yeah- keep pretending and keep your jobs program going. That’s all it is. Well, that and a price support system. When you start doing multi-day sweeps and staying on-site to get early starts every single day then maybe you will earn our respect. Right now every grower worth his salt is laughing at your theatrics! Ha Ha Ha!!! We all know those ridiculous civil fines will not stand up in court. Greenhouses alone will not be a reason for warrants. Absentee property owners are not responsible for guerrilla grows on their land. The logging companies and large private landowners will stand with that legal reading and your big scary fine strategy will unravel, leaving you with nothing. John Ford will resign in failure and disgrace. Y’all let it get way out of hand. Should have shown some muscle back in ’07 or even earlier. This train has left the station! The underground market will always undercut and undermine the corporate sell-out compliance market. Ha Ha Ha!!!
You act like the sheriffs department makes the laws…..they are enforcing the law to its extent. Did you forget you live in California?
Did you forget when Downey made multiple public comments stating that they, the HUMCO Sheriffs Office would no longer (HA!) be applying resources to deal with cannabis grows, unless the complaints were plentiful and damages egregious enough?
I know of a handful of busts that occurred between 2009 and 2016 in my old neck of the woods. Those were only busted….by DFW/Fish and Game, nonetheless….because of multiple complaints and plain visibility of those growers’ pumps running all day/nite draining the last drops out of their respective creeks/streams with salmon pools being reduced to shallow puddles with no connection to the main water courses. Lots of people throughout the season were actively transporting them by bucket out of the creek and into the river to give them any semblance of a chance at survival.
Farce has it pretty spot-on.
Clean Scene: Also a good comment Notice how the sheriffs did not take any photos of spilled oil or trash heaps, etc…My only real concern, and this is as someone who tries to take care of their tools, is having the generator and pump exposed in full sun. How hard is it to build a ventilated enclosure???
Thanks to the people moving the fish! Thanks to those who didn’t pull extra water in that drought! Thanks to those who turned in the fish-killing grows! Thanks to those who grew and used some of that money for restoring our watersheds! The greedrushers were never friends to us or our communities. They used us as cover as they destroyed the scene for their own benefit. I was here and I saw it happen.
Where is the damage inflicted by these outlaws ? These photos show a beautiful pond and a tidy miniature grow .
The parcels did not possess nor were in the process of actively obtaining a commercial cannabis permit with the County of Humboldt.
and they be tossing their Gatorade containers on the ground. you want ants? this is how you get ants!
Actually one of these properties was “in the process” and have a tiny grow. It’s super weird these tiny grows got hit
Not really weird. They just forgot to pay the man!
that sucks. tiny grows could be the backbone of the economy in the future. like 18 of them per household. 😉 if they had paperwork in the system they need to file a civil suit. aint there one fledgling attorney ready to change the World? maybe advise these scenes to invest in a garbage can or two with lids.
There’s no crime, just commerce.
Agreed clean scene. New age rip offs.
Clean scene and that pond has been there for years it looks like. It looks like a couple if hoop houses and a small pond…
Looks like a brand new pump.
Another misinformation “press release” – hoo raw for the person drawing a paycheck from the people’s public treasury typing such nonsense.
FIVE agencies “served” three search warrants “to investigate” = an illegal, unlawful wrong action with intent to do harm. Who’s the witness to this “crime” that signed an affidavit complaint under oath w/penalties of perjury and took it to a judgie wudgie for signature on the issued warrants?
A fishing expedition isn’t what a warrant is.
Agreed.
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Good spread it’s a farce. Burn in hell Estelle and planning & extortion DEP.
That $36,000 they stole should about cover the payroll of the however many agencys it took to rob those poor saps then cite and release them with empty pockets.. As for Jeffrey and Franklin… Damn bros… Fools and their money are soon to part.. I mean it aint right but it is obvious the game their playing, if you are foolish enough to keep 90lbs processed and 36K on site for any time at all..
I dont know what to tell you. In this day and age i wont process on site… And i definitely wont keep cash on site EVER
Oh and 3 points to the Duchess for comment of the thread.. Ants, great! Now See what youve done… Now weve got ANTS…
Well we all know and I now finally the FBI knows because people are reporting it now that the $36,000 is only about 1/3 of what they got this time. In the past it is the same thing. Lawyers are now reporting it to the FBI and there will be a big sting in the not too distant future. Maybe even this is the one. All these thieving fat pigs are going to go down.
Get the FBI involved? There goes another 2/3 of the cash into THEIR pockets.
Lol
even with the lid on the bottle. its important to use the brain.
Ants… that’s why we can’t have nice things… 😂😂😂😂
😉
Yeah baby that’s the real story,. Thieves with badges, and political power!!! ( For now)
The second oldest and second largest gang in MurKKKuh
The only way the county can make money is fining people who grow a harmless plant. But they catch and release a heroin addict. This county is fucked.
I know right?
Redway has an entire homeless town or several of them just outside of town.
Code enforcement not interested.
I wonder why?
Money maybe?
Supposedly there is a giant pallet structure just north of town I got a glimpse of coming back from the dump when the light was just right.
It looked really big, definitely a code violation and it’s on property owned by an LLC.
I’m sure the local businesses here must really love it when they come into town to loiter around they’re stores.
An impromptu pallet structure is no challenge for the HCSO wood chipper! The HCSO aint got time foe dat. The LLC property ownership is one key to successfully warding off code enforcement. LLCs with PO boxes don’t pay fines.
How do you feel about the tweaker growers who are tail gating you in their grow dozers because they are in a hurry to go nowhere? I frankly will not miss them when they are gone and it won’t be long for many of them.
Indeed, Tug…indeed. The last three summers, I’ve gone elsewhere. I can’t stand the place at this time of year. When the rains come and it’s time to burn, I’m there, it’s home. When it gets dry and the grow-bros come out of the wood-works/meth-shacks, I high-tail it to greener pastures and try to be more frugal than the rest of the year.
I love SoHum in the springtime.
I love SoHum in the fall.
I love SoHum in the winter when it drizzles
but fuhget about it in the summer
Has anybody tried the nacho fries at Taco Bell? I’m not convinced they conform to the county’s best practices guidlines for cannabis cuisine
Easy come, easy go. Next!!
Definitely not their best day… 36 THOUSAND dollars, looks like about 30 lbs on the hood of the car (yet they stated 91 lbs- no way that’s what is on that hood!)
Oh well they are trying to make it look good to protect their jobs. I’m not sure who is the mastermind behind this massive expenditure of tax dollars, but they might want to find someone else.
This story is called ” as the money and economy moves elsewhere”. You transplants will be crying a different tune in a couple years when there’s no work here.when half the buissnesses are boarded up,when the line to social services is wrapped around the corner and down Broadway.when the crime rate for theft has tripled.when addiction and alcoholism is 4 fold.youll miss the neighborhood grow dozers.
You forgot to mention the exodus of people that’s already started. The unemployment rate in CA is the lowest it has been in 40 years. Can’t see many staying and collecting welfare or ripping off their broke neighbors. This area has boomed and busted several times during the past and most moved on to greener pastures when the economy contracted. Suspect that will happen again
And when the property prices decline and stabilize, so people not of the green rush grow mentality can afford land of their own…….
Have already had inquiries from tourists about buying their place in the country. I suspect in a year or two real estate will become affordable again as a lot of rural property’s sale price was based on the ability to pay off the note with the proceeds of cultivation. Suspect some owner carry folks will just walk away from their property and those balloon payments will never happen.
I can only hope….
We can plainly say that these cannabis farmers did not pay Humboldt County the extortion money for the permission slip to cultivate cannabis, I say extortion because that is exactly what the fees and permisaion slips are all about. Pay to play, either way Humboldt County Corporation will tax you, either pay up front or have Humboldt County steal your hard work while the deputies steal and personally pocket your money and pounds They will tax you up front or just tax you by stealing your personal property.
Meanwhile real criminals and drug dealers sell meth on Highway 101 all along Eureka….. But we know all the Humboldt County Corporation wants is to steal your money and sell your pounds…. None of the weed or money is actually honestly accounted for, these cops are thieves, plain and simple.
The humbolt shit show continues, literally. Grow dozers, meth, heroin, death, whining, and defeat.
It almost seems as though HCSO just trolled the lot of you.
This is just getting ridiculous. I think most people in Humboldt know what your typical mountain grow-op looks like, and I think we would all agree that this one looks pretty damn clean, organized, and well-maintained. Furthermore, I think we’d all agree that this grow is not even a fraction of the size of the other grows in that area.
I think it’s time for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Dept to address the public on how they are choosing these busts, particularly the ones with less than 1,000 plants that are located near other illegal farms with 10,000+ plants. It does NOT make any sense at all.
My neighbor was busted recently, small family-farm grow with less than 700 plants. Two medium sized greenhouses, discreetly placed in a backyard, well-manicured lawn, cannabis growing right next to a beautiful organic garden of squash, kale, pumpkins, etc. This property was straight out of Better Homes and Garden, and it was just a small Mom and Son operation. They are born and raised in Humboldt. And suddenly, like random, they get a cease and desist order. But right down the road, half a mile away, an illegal grow with 4,000 plants and 8 junked vehicles hasn’t been contacted by authorities at all.
This needs to be address.
end of the road. up against the undeveloped ridge. pond to lure big game. looks like a prime hunting property to me.
Way back in the late 70’s/early 80’s I used to get elbows of cannabis shake for $100, sell ten ounces at $10 each, and keep the rest. There were always little buds in there and for a broke college student it was the best I could do. As long as it was from Humboldt it was killer!
