Take back all state land from the federal government.
Feds and the cartels out of California!
Take back? It was never the state’s land to begin with.
Take it away then. But I doubt when California joined the Union all the land belonged to the feds. The BLM land around my place was given to the federal government in the 1890s. The feds swooped it because the mineral rights are extremely valuable. We don’t need the feds. They need california!
Why so the State can plunder it for resources vs protect for future generations to come?
Don’t fool yourself.
It’s not being saved for future generations.
It’s held as collateral on the national debt.
If the feds cared at all about future generations we would not be trillions of dollars in debt.
We’re just cattle.
dear Why: About 6 miles west of Zenia, on the Zenia Bluff road, is a bridge over Mud Creek. There used to be a D shaped culvert that ran under the road, but it was failing. So a cement bridge was built. I worked for the Trinity county dept of transportation, and I just happened to be there at the official opening. I noticed a car that said it was from the US State dept. So I asked the guy from the State dept what he was doing there, on such a small bridge in the middle of know where. He said, “This is a resource rich area, trees and minerals, and the US govt wants to make sure they have access to them.” Enough said.
A small remark to create such an all encompassing theory. Being interested in a path is a far cry from confiscation. The Federal Department of State is a tiny organization, relatively speaking, tasked with foreign interactions, and the idea that they even have cars to send to random constructions sites is a stretch. That they have some secret agenda but would show up in a marked car and make statements to random people in the middle of nowhere is very a further stretch.
I was drug free when I worked for the county, I had a commercial license with all endorsements, and was tested regularly. It isn’t a small remark. But I thought the same thing as guest. What are they doing at a small bridge. I am sure it wasn’t random either. basically, if the govt wants stuff out here, they will get stuff, the stuff being timber and minerals. he was all GPS ed out, and knew exactly where he was. His remarks have bothered me for a long time. And this path has supported logging trucks and very heavy equipment for many years, I helped bring in a crusher, 120,000 pound load, as I had special DMV endorsement on my license, you need much more than a path to support that much weight and that many trucks hauling logs every day. I still don’t like what he said, no one should.
RIP Aretha Franklin………
Blake Mountain is off the Hwy 36 route, midway about 6 miles west of Hyampom and the same east of Pilot Rock. There’s not much out there but remote Blake Spring Campground.
Blake Spring Campground??
Electric lines on a tree with tall grass around? These idiots are lucky they didn’t cause a fire!
Kim, Why are there never any arrests?
Like the comment about it never being the states land to begin with!!!! Murdered and stole it from the Indians, now the planning department and the finance companies will be taking it from the people of all races.except a few
That’s always how history has been. Rotten, but people get the shaft.
Looks like beutiful country.
Go to hell dirtbags.
R.I.P Aretha Franklin
Plants were loving that 20-20-20…
Agreed. They look pretty darn happy
$70,000 fine per day for oil filters? How many damn oil filters did they have and how is there not a picture of that? I think that should be the headline. “Grower Fined $70,000 Per Day For Mismanaging His Oil Filters”
Probably had 1 or 2 in a bucket somewhere.it would be fine with no charge if it was in a logging company equipment yard.along with used oil a couple of diesel spills, and oil stains under the equipment.but hey loggers are the good ole boys they’re the backbone of Humboldt.theyre keeping everyone working and the economy afloat.theyre money’s keeping all the stores in buissness, the land taxes paid, all the way down to the checker at the grocery stores pay check.lol. There also looking out for the environment.
