Look, crop circles!
It’s an Alien grow!
Looks like a old logging landing
Crop circles, maybe.. the ghost gun though..
Kevin de León’s ghost gun ban and the ensuing investigation clearly is what brought these dirty dopers down..
Or a map.
This is beautiful
So much wasted space so the dude can look cool from an aerial picture
That dont look like 8,855 plants i suppose they had more some place else
Well so much for the old days of burlap bags and camo paint. What does that shape represent, a sunflower w a stem? Star Wars, Star Trek?
Like nobody will notice that scene! There goes the money he could have used to get legal. Right into the ole wood-chipper.
Six in one hand, half a dozen in the other. Spending money going legal is the fastest way of throwing money into the ole wood chipper, as many suckaaas are finding out.
23 grading violations! That’s a lot for one property, and would have cost a bit to get permitted.
The county does have a self-reporting program for anyone that wants to report themselves for violations before getting served. Even if you don’t get the cannabis permit, you could reduce how many things you can get fined for. When it comes down to only plants, they don’t seem to care so much, it’s the environmental stuff they are burning people on.
There goes a lot of income for Humboldt County. Odd! None of the guns are illeagel or were used for pot growing but the cops love to show them. Kind of like if there is a robbery at the liquor store and they show lots of pictures of black people that had nothing to do with it.
Were there any arrests made? Seems strange especially since they found guns as well.
Those guns are legal, even the AR mod only has a ten round clip. Couple shotguns, everything is fine there. The cops like to use them to make it look like the people are gnarly. Bout the same as getting a DUI with your hunting rifle in its case in the back of your rig
IF the gun isn’t legally yours, or has modifications that aren’t allowed, or is missing serial numbers, then yes, the gun is illegal regardless of type. What else makes them illegal? You having felonies on your record that prohibits owning firearms.
If the guns were illegal, don’t you think the cops would have said so for bragging rights in the write up??
They weren’t.
If you’re a pot farmer in California, you have no second amendment rights, it’s some crazy bs.
Due to the fact the Leo’s take fire arms violations very seriously and that there were no arrests or any mention of filed serial numbers, extended clips, or illegal modifications, those guns were legal. Quit trying to make shit up when you have no clue
That must have been some Where’s Waldo level focus spotting the barely noticeable pot bullseye on the aerial maps.
Cops were like, ” there’s Waldo!” LMAO
Junk cars violation! The shame. What.is the world coming to?
Haha and they weren’t even camera worthy!
Nice target he planted there.
Yoo-hoo eye in the sky. Look at me.
Omg that is just crazy greed .who would buy all that weed ?hey that was a rime .I’m a poet and didn’t know it lol I also find it very peculiar that no one ever is arrested on these big giant grows they just want the money
They need to start holding contractors or heavy equipment operators just as accountable as the land owner, for doing the illegal grading without a permit from the county. Just the same as all the other work contractors do.
Those “contractors” are the growers themselves and their workers. They get the equipment through friends that get it from rental companies.
Looks like a pretty clean and well managed operation to me. They probably read Blackbelt comments and wanted to create a new discussion by planting outside the box.
These are the kind that must be shutdown. They destroy the earth and dont give a shit.
/*\ <– there's the weed man
I mean, there’s a lot of empty space in that clearing. If you’re going to clear all that space, might as well fill it up right? I’m trying to appreciate the artistic touch, but really doesn’t seem worth it.
The fines total somewhere in the neighborhood of $448000 per day. Yep, per day. Now, if the powers-that-be can only figure out how to collect. I’ve yet to see a press release that claims to have collected anything. Anybody have any intel on this subject?
Call the planning dept for some figures, rumor has it: they’ve collected.
The fines for a unpermited winery are $100 a day. So lets wait and see.
Oh yes they are collecting. If you fine someone 30k for a 200k garden, it makes sense to pay the fine and keep going. I would recommend keeping an eye on the planning dept. I was in there a few months ago for a building permit and personally saw HUGE wads of cash being forked over the counter. They have several cash counters, that should tell you something.
It’s a situation ripe for fraud.. and those beady-eyed pencil pushers behind the counter there … well… I wouldn’t trust them any farther than I could throw them.
Just another manifestation of our wholesome cash economy. Could you fault the cops and other govt employees for filling their pockets with loose, untraceable cash? Merry Christmas!
Extortionists.
Its called fear mongering those without permits into getting permits….
Fear and trauma based enforcement,…..
That looks like over $400,000 per day in fines. Per day. Yikes
Hey Kym,
Are there any more photos? Seems odd that they’ve gotten scarce with their pics all the sudden. Used to be they’d have pictures of all the herb they chopped…
Thanks !
I Want to restore my land to what it was 50 years ago,…, clear cut!…..Why can’t I?..
No old growth or any growth from the old rotten stumps I can park my quad on!!!! It’s my land. I would have defensible fire space. My land would be clean looking if it were to be in a photoshoot from the local government agencies . Everything fire department would want. Nope can’t do that, got to keep the kindling in the woods here so it looks bad for the photos. No you can’t cut that tan oak down or those huckleberry bushes or that poison oak.” You can’t grade your land! “ he said. But you already signed the 3 acre conversion permit final inspection and approved the work done two years ago…….. Remember the land was clear cut 50 years ago and skid trails were everywhere…..and they say restore your land. Complaining about the watersheds and the environment, but they divert how much water down south!!!!! I am impressed with the level of stupidity this county and state has stooped too. Its time to raise the bar and people need to get a grip on reality.
Black market survives strong.
With all the busts and smokey ass dep weed I think prices will stabilize this yr. Looks like anywhere else is a better place to grow than mendo Humboldt or trinity. I hear siskiyou is crushing it.
It’s that star chart we keep beaming into space, sans the nudes of humans! Somebody was trying to make Awesome contact…
23 sounds excessive . They should have given one for that. Every time the dozer scrapes the ground there giving a fine for it sounds like bullshit. The guy in charge that day must have been a real asshole. Like giving a separate charge for every plant . Or every pound. Makes no sense . Or speeding giving a ticket for every mile over the speed limit . Do logging company’s get permits for every skid road they put in to bull doze down a hill to grab one log and drag it through the forest destroying everything in its path. I’m not anti logging just saying they don’t have to get permits for every move they make .
The reason it’s shaped like that is so that you can run a water supply to the middle of the garden and easily tend to your garden using only one hose.
wreck the police’s day if you have to
