Armed Robbery on Herrick Avenue in Eureka, Suspect Sought

On Saturday, August 4, 2018 at about 1:57 p.m. Humboldt County Sheriff Deputies responded to the Fairway Market at 590 Herrick Avenue, Eureka for a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.  Witnesses told deputies an unknown suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm and demanded money.  The cashier complied and the suspect left the market with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a maroon late model Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a hispanic male adult, approximately 6’0, slender build, bald head, wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

  • Another low life creep stealing from people that work for a living. Glad no one was hurt. Invest in a better camera for clearer pictures.

  • I’m sure even Eureka has traffic cams the truck is unique and the logos on his sweatshirt should be able to enlarge and clear it up by law enforcement so they can make them out but the traffic cams should be able to pick up his license plates assuming of course he’s gotten them and the truck is registered to him LOL
