Traffic Slow Near Laytonville on 101 After Accident

At approximately 12:26 p.m., two vehicles collided on Hwy 101 just south of Laytonville. A Honda Element and a Dodge Ram were involved. According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, now one was injured.

Traffic is moving slowly through the area as of 12:40 p.m. Attempts are being made to clear the road.

Honestly after being absolutely creamed by a RAM in my 2gen xcab Toyota (same no injuries ) where my rig was totaled -no question- the passenger side was folded , front wheel broken off, but the RAM drove away afterward, maybe losing in piece of plastic off the grill!! I’m thinking few rigs would be a “good match ” for that beast. …

We travel that way and there are so many idiots that pass when it is not safe
