You Can ‘Plan Your Entry in the Wildwood Days Parade!’
This is a press release from the Wildwood Days Parade:
The Wildwood Days parade in Rio Dell is Sat., August 4 this year. Those wanting to enter a float may do so for free. The theme is a salute to all veterans, honoring this year as the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. Download an application with information and judging categories at riodellscotiachamber.org, under “Join the Parade.”
In addition, all veterans in the Eel River Valley are invited to join the Rio Dell Scotia Chamber of Commerce entry in the parade by walking or riding a float. Veterans wanting to be part of this entry can show up at the staging area, the dental office of Dr. Shin, at Belleview and Wildwood on the north end of Rio Dell by 11:30 a.m. to get in the lineup. Men and women veterans from all eras, whether or not they were in a war, are encouraged to participate.
