This information is provided by Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get this dog into a forever home, please pass this along to them.

I am a spayed female, black and white Border Collie and Beagle. The shelter thinks I am about 4 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jul 01, 2018.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

STELLA

The word that comes to mind for Stella is enthusiastic! She is a very happy dog who is so eager to get out of her kennel that she pulls a bit on the leash, but calms right down after a couple of minutes. She is a major tail-wagger and is an avid ball dog, dropping it nicely at your feet. She is affectionate and loves to be touched. She seems quite interested in other dogs.

  • willing to bet this is an extremely SMART dog.

  • I agree. Unlike a pitbull. They are as dumb as a box of rocks.

    • I don’t think pit bulls are dumb. Just impulsive. However they do seem to attract a larger proportion of dumb owners who can’t see they need to be responsible for their dogs.

  • I don’t know, I had a pet rock as a kid. Taught it to do two tricks: sit and stay. Did both very well. Or it taught me not to ask anything else from it. Either way, pretty smart.
