Cruze Carl: ‘His kindness. His humor. His tenderness.’
This section includes both obituaries and memories. Honoring our loved ones who have died does not end immediately after their passing. We recognize that… so we’re extending our obituary section to include individuals who may have left a long time ago. If you want to remember someone who is gone, either recently or longer ago, please send a photo and a few sentences to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cruze Cassidy Carl was born at home in Blocksburg Ca. on September 26, 1987.
Cruze grew up a sweet, spirited, and adventurous little boy who loved the outdoors and every animal within it. Everyone loved having him as a friend. He enjoyed fishing with his siblings and friends in the nearby creeks and throughout his elementary and high school years he played a variety of sports . . . but mountainboarding and snowboarding were always his favorites.
He met the love of his life and wife, Alecia, at a concert in 2007. They were together for 7 years before the birth of their daughter in 2014 and then 2 years later were blessed with a son. They spent a wonderfully unique 11 years together before his unexpected death on June 7, 2018. Truly the best man, most supportive and loving husband, best father, friend, brother and son. An example of the type of man one can only hope to become.
The deep, once-in-a-lifetime love that he shared with Alecia became a beacon and an inspiration to all of us.
Cruze is survived by his wife Alecia Carl, their two children Naneah and Zekiah, his parents Rita and Cyril Carl, brother Drew & his wife Melanie and their four children, his brother Zion, partner Christina and newborn son, sister Journey and her partner Jake, sister Lilanya, & husband Adrian & their two children, brother Rocket, partner Nayena and their four children. As well as many other loving family members and close friends that became family.
His kindness . His humor. His tenderness. His deep family devotion . . it stirred our hearts. We will remember and share and celebrate that extraordinary love . . forever and always.
We are so thankful during this time of immense loss for the love, support, and help of countless friends and community members.
