I want to put up signs on the roads that aren’t maintained by the county saying,” this road isn’t funded by SB1″

That occurs to me every time I past one of those $1000 signs and turn into the road clearly not being maintained. It’s disgusting to have government spending tax money to advertise and lobby for more as if they should not have been maintaining the roads all along.

I do believe I heard a county official on KINS the other day say that they only got about 30% of what was needed. And other locales saying the state took 50% for itself off the top. Money that went to bullet trains or just disappeared into other projects.

I would be willing to bet that California spends more on road signs and cones than Arizona spends on actually fixing their road.
