What would explode if a greenie burnt? Fuel? LP? Fertilizer? Sounds more like a BHO lab.

Hope they can put this out safely without injury & can minimize property loss. Thanks fire fighters!

Propane tanks… Generator gas… You answered your own question and then took a leap of faith.

I wouldn’t keep anything that would explode in a greenie. I’m just stating what I think is more likely. I certainly don’t know and could be wrong.

CO2 generator blew out and filled the greenhouse with propane.

Good luck, hope the wind does not show up. Should be a ton of available resources too.

Will they bust the neighborhood full of greenies? No. There are only a few such planned media events. To pretend that scenes are getting popped and scare unpermitted operators into compliance. Otherwise the sheriff is doing the same as always- nothing.

Yes but with a hundred abatement notices this year already the planning dept. has done more than CAMP ever did. Can Ettersburg get some abatement love?

Looked pretty bad. Hope no one was injured. Great work to the first responders(telegraph Ridge). Support your local fire departments. Lots of burnt plastic sheeting and burnt pvc. Alternative source of CO2 generation for the plants that survived.

burning plastic & pvc
creates carbon monoxide a poisonous gas. (not carbon dioxide – CO2 which plants and trees need to survive)

@meow Burning 1 kg of pvc plastic generates 3kg of CO2. Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that is slightly less dense than air. Burning plastic emits both. Basic 7th grade chemistry.

How did this start?

It was not Dutyville, but Crooked Prairie. There were dozens of witnesses to the location, and the smoke. CalFire is incorrect. The fire was in CP. and, way more than a greenhouse went up. Tons of black smoke. The gossip today is that it was the same greedy grower assholes that are currently logging their land. At least 5 truckloads of spindly tan oaks, def not lumber quality. But hey, they are the best people, cuz they’re legal…

When your scene catches fire it becomes everyone’s business.

Just FYI the spindly tan oak is probably for firewood [edit] The lumber quality wood goes to the mill. Duh
