County Replacing Culvert on Alderpoint Road Starting June 11
This is a press release from the County of Humboldt:
NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION for Alderpoint Road, Post Mile 35.27.
The Humboldt County Department of Public Works will be replacing a culvert that was damaged in last year’s storms, in the area of the 35000 block Alderpoint Road, Blocksburg.
Construction is scheduled to begin June 11, with a completion date of June 22. Lane closures with one-way controlled traffic will occur during construction until the project is completed.

While hundreds of culverts have been relaced in so hum by land owners, the county manages to replace its first culvert….. Good job! At this rate it will only take 500 years to get our roads up to par
