Reduced Rate Adoptions for Dogs at the Shelter
Press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:
The Humboldt County Animal Shelter is offering reduced-rate adoptions for dogs beginning today through May 25.
Due to the shelter’s dog kennels being over capacity, all adult dogs (6 months and older) are $50, seniors (dogs 7 years and older) are $35 and puppies (less than 6 months) are $80. Cats remain at their regular adoption price.
Adoptable dogs are neutered or spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and temperament tested. Some dogs also have had obedience training classes.
The animal shelter’s currently available, adoptable pets are listed online and updated daily at petharbor.com and petfinder.com. The shelter is located at 980 Lycoming Ave in McKinleyville. The shelter’s normal operating hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

This is great. Tell your friends to go adopt some friends!
Pit bull, pit bull, pit bull mix, pit bull and so on
the shelter would not be full if the shelter administrators would be responsible and put all the pit bulls and pit mixes down like they should. Our society should not have to live with these killers
We can add wiener dogs to your killer list. A woman was just killed by a vicious pack of 7. Death to all wiener dogs.
You pit haters are idiots
