Public Works Widening, Repaving Red Cap Road Next Week

The Humboldt County Department of Public Works, in cooperation with the Karuk Tribe, will be widening and repaving Red Cap Road to improve safety for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians.

Paving driveways and side streets at connections to Red Cap Road is scheduled for the week of May 14.

Lane closures with one-way controlled traffic will occur at various locations on Red Cap Road between post mile 0.30 and post mile 1.56.
