Humboldt Deputy Sheriff Organization Endorses Ryan Sundberg
This is a press release from Sundberg for Supervisor 2018:
“Ryan is a rockstar in regard to public safety,” said HDSO President Jamie Barney. “His support and work on Measure Z ensures that we now have pro-active law enforcement in the county. His unwavering respect and commitment to our deputies and others working each day in public service is invaluable. We look forward to working with him for years to come.”
“From my first days in office, the community made it clear that the single biggest issue facing the 5th District was public safety. With their support, Measure Z passed to provide needed funds and the effort to bring law enforcement in the 5th District has paid off. It took time and work, but today we can all feel more secure at home and in the community,” said Ryan Sundberg, 5th District Supervisor. “These deputies play a vital role in ensuring our safety and go beyond, helping and supporting us to enhance our quality of life. I am thankful for their service and the vote of confidence from the Humboldt Deputy Sheriffs Organization.”
The Humboldt Deputy Sheriffs Organization (HDSO) consists of front-line law enforcement officers in Humboldt County. HDSO members are deputy sheriffs, probation officers, investigators in the district attorney’s office, deputy coroners, and welfare fraud investigators. Because HDSO members know first-hand the unique challenges presented to maintaining public safety due to Humboldt County’s large geographical size, rugged terrain, and remote populated areas, HDSO is committed to consistently informing the public and policy makers of best public safety practices.
