Probably another graduate of law the Domiano school of probation. He knows it works. Crime and punishment . It is time for a new approach. Shut down their juv. hall school outside the hall. Make sure they are involved in sports or are working. No extending of probation. It is impossible to be on probation for longer than 3 months.

He does make sense. We have more killings, yet we have more cops. We also have less jobs, less jobs for kids, and for kids who don’t make grades in school, there is no outlet in sports. Things are not working out like the the big boys figured.

I don’t think sports is going to be the miracle that saves youth from crime. Yes jobs would be nice but the kids that get involved with crime were usually raised in that environment and have no interest in legal work and makin a better life for themselves. Sure some do, but I’m betting most could care a less. Sorry. Know it sounds ultra negative but I worked in the system for over 35 years. At least 65% or more of youth I worked with went on to be adult criminals. I could be off percentage wise either way but every day I see another few names under arrests. Every day!!!!

It not just the youth, society in general has changed. Cops no longer tell you to behave and to go home. Now off to jail, cops tell you to get yourself an attorney. Everything is solved in court. Now they want to solve up close and personal.

Out of touch much? ‘Behave and go on home’..? Wth do you think they’re getting busted for, doorbell ditch? A couple joints? Squealing their tires? These losers are stealing, forging, shooting up, burglary, shoplifting…. get real.

How can you be so out of touch??? Do you ever look at news from anywhere else?
Seriously, look up “shootings in ca 2018”
There are shootings everywhere, look at how much our society teaches through media and romanticizes craxy gun violence; that its an acceptable way to deal with a situation. Im all for people owning a gun but Its getting ridiculous.

Sounds like the victim knew the suspect, & would bet money it will turn out that the guy has a history of domestic violence. We need to pay more attention to those warning signs.

Why don`t I ever get to see something like this? I was through Eureka just last week. I`d love to see a good shootout or murder — something really nasty!!

Hey, Voyeuristic creeps need love too! I`ve always wanted to see a good wreck sometime. A really good one with cars smashing up, something bursting into flames. I did see a wreck at about 150 mph at a grand prix once.

I actually did once. The only wreck I`ve seen was as an active participant. Someone made a left turn directly in front of me and I hit him head on with my motorcycle. Very unpleasant! My motorcycle, a very old Triumph twin, was able to be repaired and ran again. The car was totaled.
