And another one bites the dust…but will he stay in custody? Place your bets!
I can’t find the law on “false compartments” except one used in the commission of a crime. But are they illegal in and of themselves?

“Use of a false compartment in a vehicle”? Hadn’t heard that law before. Those cops think of everything!
I try to avoid being profiled, but I guess i’d better not hide my tie dye clothes like that anymore when I am motoring the highways to The City anymore!

The laws are made in Sacramento. But it does sound something that is not going to survive the first constitutional challenge if anyone us charge for having an empty “concealed compartment.”

Yeah. I thought about that. The laws are made by Legislators, yet ones like that no doubt come through law enforcement channels, making the request, if not their lobby actually writing the language.

I had to “google” that one. Found that many states have laws that prohibit the use of secret compartments in vehicles if you are using them to transport illegal things.

The DA’s office has sniffer dogs? How does that work? I know the DA has investigative personnel, but are they just another flavor of cops?
