This ‘Handsome Dude’ is Looking for a Forever Home
A concerned reader emailed us about this dog that’s listed on Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get him into a forever home, please pass this along to them.
I am a neutered male, black and white Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter thinks I am about 6 years old. I have been at the shelter since Feb 22, 2018.
Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
Per one of our devoted volunteers: ” I was introduced to Snoopy today, a little 6-y-o Pit. He’s altogether lovely. He welcomed me to his kennel, apologized for the mess and offered me a chewtoy. After those preliminaries, we set out. He completely ignored the rowdies in the other cells and made polite conversation while strolling to the Coast Guard lookout and back. His coloring makes his face look a little out of focus, which is weird. Or maybe my eyesight. And he is justifiably proud of the beautiful markings on his back. He was dignified and unruffled as we passed Cookie going the opposite way, so he seems fine with other dogs. He’s quite refined, really, although he has an expressive tail that betrays him, and he does make the same snorting noise in your ear that landed Miss Piggy with her unfortunate name.
Quite a handsome dude.”
