Man Arrested for Multiple Felony Warrants
This is a press release from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
The Deputy knew a subject named Michael Monahan lived at the location and that he had multiple felony warrants issued for his arrest from the Mendocino County Superior Court.
The Deputy contacted Monahan at the residence and confirmed with Sheriff’s Office dispatch that Monahan’s arrest warrants were still active. The dispatcher informed the Deputy that Monahan had two felony warrants issued for his arrest for 1203.2 PC [Violation of Probation].
Monahan was advised and placed under arrest for the warrants without incident.
Monahan was subsequently booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held on a no-bail status pursuant to the arrest warrants.
