[UPDATE 9:25 p.m.] Fire Destroys RV at Dean Creek Resort
At approximately 8:11 p.m., Redway Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a fire at the Dean Creek resort north of Redway. According to Fire Chief Brian Anderson, when the crew arrived they found a fully involved Class A Motorhome full of belongings.
“The owner wasn’t here when we got here,” Anderson said. Besides the loss of the motorhome, Anderson said, “A couple trees got scorched.”
Redway Fire responded with an engine and a water tender. Cal Fire responded with an engine.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Redway, home of burned RV’s…
I left my heart in San Francisco and my fiery RV in Redway.
Mobile bho lab.
Was a mother and son… No oil production here… Keep your negative comments to yourself…. if you don’t have nothing nice to say then don’t say nothing at all
Actually should have said Garberville/Redway, home of burning RV’s.
And here’s the news: From Humboldt:
Someone busted with drugs, someone stole something, someone robbed something, somebody murdered someone, someone ran from the cops, someone busted with TONS of weed, something happened in Shelter Cove, some shit happened in Fortuna, vehicles crashed EVERYWHERE, and something burned in Garberville/Redway!
BORING!
And the comments are from the gut, so if you don’t like comments, DON’T READ THEM!
If ya got nothing nice to say, and don’t know what you’re texting about, don’t!
I keep a Halon extinguisher by the front door just in case! They are pretty inexpensive these days. Cheap insurance to buy one. Sorry for the people who are now house less. Fire prevention goes along way.
In Garberville, you should always carry one with you…
