Crash Early This Morning Kills Willits Driver

Press release from the California Highway Patrol:

CHP Feature FatalityOn March 13, 2018 at approximately 0150 hours, Ukiah CHP responded to a solo vehicle traffic collision on State Route 20 just south of Willits, CA.

In the initial investigation, it was determined a 2004 Cadillac driven by a male from Willits was driving eastbound on State Route 20 approaching Hollands Avenue at an unknown high rate of speed. The Cadillac left the north roadway edge and slid into a tree…The driver was ejected and sustained fatal injuries…

The identity of the driver has not been released and is pending notification to next of kin. The cause of this collision is under investigation. It is unknown at this time whether alcohol and/or drugs were a contributing factor in this collision.

This individual should receive a Darwin Award!!! He meets the qualifications!!! Dumb enough not to use a seatbelt & poor driving enough to take himself out of the Gene Pool, the main requirement for A Darwin Award!!! Thankfully he didn’t take anyone else with him!!!

Yeah, it’s nice he didn’t take 4 or 5 other people with him. Thanks so much. Do we EVER get a tox report or proof of cell phone use on these accidents?
