[UPDATE] At Least One Injured in Two Vehicle Accident; Male Trapped in Vehicle
At approximately 11:52 a.m. an accident occurred on Myrtle Avenue near Felt Road just south of Freshwater. According to scanner traffic, a pedestrian was injured.
According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, two vehicles are involved–a white Mazda pickup and a white big rig. One vehicle struck a pedestrian. One vehicle has a male trapped inside as of 11:55 a.m.
As of 12:09 p.m., Myrtle Avenue is blocked. CPR is in progress on one person.
UPDATE 12:30 p.m.: Channel 3 has video. They are reporting only a driver of the small truck was injured.
UPDATE 3:12 p.m.: Myrtle Avenue is open.
