[UPDATE] Two Shepherds Lost, One Is Injured

two german shepherds

Today, these two German Shepherds were seen wandering on Forest Service Road 10 near Hayfork. The person who saw them is worried. “One is injured but was up walking,” she told me.

The dogs are both fearful. “No one was able to catch them,” the woman who saw them said.

Unwilling to leave them without help, the woman put out food and water. If anyone knows who they belong to, please call (707) 502-5686 for more information.

They are going back every day to try to win their trust, and animal control is working with them as well …they will get them soon hopefully.

I hope this don’t turn into more most Shepard’s have separation anxiety and won’t go far from their owner. If they have any real training behind them they won’t take treats unless it’s from the owner these are probably going to be some tough pup’s to catch.

I hope the person reporting on them succeeds in helping them. Sad and worrisome.

Nice looking dogs, might be a good idea to train them as police dogs so they could help stomp out marijuana and Caliphate members with illegal weapons and cash for money laundering.

That would be a great job for them.

Does anyone have an update on these dogs? Have they been caught or are they still out?

I believe these are the dogs that were transported to Trinity Animal Shelter in Weaverville today.

Both dogs have been picked up by animal control and the female who is injured is on her way to the vet.
