Not saying this was the case but lots of people that might be inebriated leave the scene of crashes on 36.

I came upon that accident right after it happened. In fact I was unable to stop and ran over his headlight that grated under my car. There was another big 4by4 there almost parked in the road. I didn’t see anyone standing around and assumed that he had been picked up by that truck. When I got home I looked on LoCo to see what was up and it said Hit and Run. There is somewhat of a straight of way before those S curves and it seems like he might have hit that tree pretty hard. I hope he is found safe.

It was after Redwood House road going south just before you get to those S curves. The beginning of the Swimmers Delight redwoods. Right by the old Strong Station Rd. Hope that helps.

Last I heard the Sheriff’s Dept. went out to the area to look around. I haven’t heard anything beyond that. Sad.
