Moderate to Heavy Rain Expected Over the Next Few Days
The heaviest rains are predicted to be in Mendocino, Southern Humboldt, and southern Trinity counties, says a Facebook post from the Weather Service. Below is a graphic from the post showing what to expect.
Ruth in Trinity County, Dunsmuir in Siskiyou County and Laytonville as well as Gualala in Mendocino are expected to get over two inches during the storm.
Meanwhile, although sunshine is predicted for most of the area today and heavy fog is peeling back in Del Norte and northern Humboldt, there are areas of dense fog still in Southern Humboldt and northern Mendocino.

NE Mendocino: So far, storm predictions have been a cruel joke down/over here… I’m tempted to put out my chain saw to bait this one. But no, I’ll find my channel shovel instead and hope for the best. Good luck to us all.

Cloudy and over cast in Leggett! Keeping my fingers crossed for rain!
Accu weather says 4am Monday (which is not tonight)and only very little on Tuesday
