[UPDATE 7:36 p.m.] Bad Accident Closes Hwy 20 in Lake County

At approximately 6:39 p.m., two vehicles, a black sedan and a jeep, collided at the intersection of Hwy 20 and Cora Drive which is between Lucerne and Clearlake Oaks. One vehicle overturned. According to scanner traffic, multiple victims are trapped and injured. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office requested that Hwy 20 be closed. An air ambulance was also requested.

As of 7:07 p.m., emergency personnel were still finding patients.

UPDATE 7:36 p.m.: According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, the main vehicle blocking the road has been pushed out of the way and Hwy 20 should reopen shortly.
