Please don’t take pictures while driving, especially at accident scenes. The life you save may be your own! https://www.thestar.com/amp/news/gta/2013/05/02/new_age_rubbernecking_drivers_taking_photos_of_crash_scenes.html

I was there shortly after. I set out some flares to warn traffic. 32 degrees the roads are still icy.

It’s getting to be that when I see a headline about an accident north of Leggett tying up 101 I double check to see if I’m reading this weeks news or last weeks news. It’s not a wonderful section of road but it seems like it gets more than it’s share of wrecks.

Our roads are just roads. They dont cause accidents. People who speed and text and drink cause accidents. mmk?

I always slow down and be careful in that section as I was a witness and assisted a woman whose car slid off in front of me there. Was on its side but we managed to put it back upright pretty easily. She was headed north and ended up in the south lane. Its a place where ice hangs out all day. A CHP officer died in a wreck there some years back. Slid off the road.
