She’ll be released from jail as soon as she sobers up. If convicted she’s in for some serious probation. Absolutely no deterrent for criminals in this county.

But, if she’d gotten into her car, and run over someone, her bail would only have doubled.

Looking in the “booked ” section of the Lost Coast Outpost , I see this is the 4th time since Monday she has been arrested –all for intoxication . THIS SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING !!!!! Not that I have any answers on what would work ,but maybe she will stay in a little while to detox now ??

Right! This system doesn’t work. If Brown passes SB10 it will get worse. There is no accountability whatsoever for criminals who break the law. Make them bail out put up some money and see if they go to court I know they will

Actually if you research statistics of counties and countries that have initiated these treatments you will be obviously surprised, and enlightened a bit.
Your taxes are higher and more costly paying for jail beds full of helpless addicts and medical costs of untreated addicts… receiving zero help. Easily could be your son, daughter, wife or brother, mom or Dad.
Wake up and wash your lefty hating hands of ignorance and become part of the solution.

I THINK ITS TIME FOR EVERYBODY TO TAKE A LITTLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEMSELVES, AND NOT PUT THE BURDEN ON THEIR NEIGHBORS AS BEING A WORTHLESS BUM. THE IGNORANCE LIES WITH THE FOLKS THAT WONT ACCEPT THEIR PART IN A SOCIAL WAY OF LIFE. AND THINK OF ONLY OF HOW TO BEAT THE SYSTEM. AS FAR AS SONS FATHERS DAUGHTERS MOMS. THIS IS WHERE RESPONSIBILITY IS TAUGHT AN LEARNED. THIS I NOT A LEFT OR RIGHT ISSUE BUT PURE COMMON SENSE. I REALIZE THAT SUCH EDUCATED PEOPLE HAVE ISSUES WITH COMMON SENSE, BUT COMMON SENSE HAS BEEN AROUND A LOT LONGER. NOBODY SHOULD HAVE THEIR EARNINGS FORCIBLY REMOVED FROM THEIR PAYCHECK.

Personal responsibility is unfortunately becoming a lost art. Everybody is a victim of something these days. You know what always happened to people who were victims throughout history? They perished. By not letting the strong survive and natural selection take its course we are just enabling the pollution of the gene pool. Feel sorry for future generations, but eventually there will be a tipping point and nature will find a way of correcting itself.

Were being duped…Give em bail and likely several will not show. Put out an arrest warrant and keep the bail money. REPEAT…Pete and Repeat were on a bridge…you know the rest of the line. It’s legal extortion while pretending we are trying to make a difference in our community !!

Alcohol 1 ?!?! You’ve got to be kidding. All the DUI’s, all the violence, on juice, plus weed was and is (in most areas) still a crime just to have it or grow it. Not even in the same league as the damage we somehow endure on alcohol. I know, you have to make sure your road is the “high” one and the “heads” are evil so you can feel good. Have another one.

You know what time it is. Citizens are forced to take care of things themselves. It’s only getting worse. Quality of community is non-exzistent. Sad
