Dave Venett: ‘A loving and proud father…and an amazing uncle’
This section includes both obituaries and memories. Honoring our loved ones who have died does not end immediately after their passing. We recognize that… so we’re extending our obituary section to include individuals who may have left a long time ago. If you want to remember someone who is gone, either recently or longer ago, please send a photo and a few sentences to email@example.com. Tell us why you would like to honor the person–is it their birthday, the date of their passing or some other date of significance to you.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Amanda, his son Christopher of Arcata, CA and brother Jack Venett of Birch Bay, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Virginia Venett, his brother Ronald Venett and sister MaryAnn Mason.
David was born on August 13th, 1955 in Wayne, Mi. He graduated in 1978 from San Francisco City College with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant management. Bragg from San Francisco, Dave began working for Georgia Pacific as a lumber grader and worked there until its closure when he began working as a warehouse manager for North Coast Brewing. Dave was a loving and proud father to Chris and an amazing uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dave had a passion for collecting and drinking fine wine. He also had a joy of cooking and listening to music.
