Sign up! Sign away your water rights to your own water on your own land! Pay fees and taxes! then realize you will lose everything anyways! While a few well-funded operations make millions and billions! What is not to love about “legalization”?

Sign up for small irrigation use, what a joke! Pretty soon we will need a permit to water the flowers on the back patio.

It’s very sad that Fish and Game are now the enforcement agency for all grows, permitted or not. State Water Board has officers but Fish and Game are the enforcers. This is sad because my neighborhood formerly worked with Fish and Game by providing access and support for a fisheries study. My neighbors have all revoked access out of concern that some minor violation might be found and trigger over-reaction and punishment (They are NOT huge greed growers by a long stretch). But the current situation makes everybody rightly concerned about Fish and Game and really does make them the untrustable enemy for a lot of folks. My concern is that wildlife and fish will suffer. Yes- get the biggest and worst violators but they don’t do that, and their fines are draconian…so they are not to be trusted. As a former wildlife biologist it saddens me.

Fish & Game…aka straight Running Game… They should raid Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Beijing — pollution and global warming from elsewhere (killing fish) used to blame the dirty doper. Sad. These agencies are here to make sure the locals property rights are secondary to the lobbyists and big money folks who don’t like competition. They just want the water/$$$…. Can’t lock free landowners up so now it’s blame them for the inevitable shift in ecosystems from climate change… If anything, these firebreaks are needed (along with water storage) to fight the coming draught-based wildfires (which, like everything else, will be blamed on private property rights, and stoners)… Especially armed stoners — that really scares the piss out of elites! California is not an island, just politically and in a reality-altered bubble capacity. One of the first state governments to subjegate the populace to corporate rule in the name of Liberalism… Robots are not that liberal when they come for your job.
