Hank the Tank: Sweet, Docile, and Searching for a Home

A concerned reader emailed us about this dog that’s listed on Petharbor.com. If you know someone who can help get him/her into a forever home, please pass this along to them.

I am a neutered male, black and tan Rottweiler mix. The shelter thinks I am about 6 years old. I have been at the shelter since Oct 27, 2017.

Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:

Hank is nicknamed “Hank the Tank” because of his size and solidity, but he’s a gentle giant! He gets very animated when it’s time to go for a walk, and he is very quick to do his ‘business’ (he is very housebroken), but beyond that, he seems to believe in conserving energy! He does a beautiful ‘sit’ and ‘shake’ but isn’t interested in long walks. He would profit from more exercise, and can be prompted to move more with tiny treats. He is very sweet and docile and has a soft thick coat.
