Jail Inmate Injured After Jump

According to scanner traffic, an inmate at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on Fourth Street in Eureka was injured after he jumped and landed about 20 feet down about 1:40 p.m. The man, in his early 30’s, was sent to St. Joseph Hospital for emergency treatment.

Sounds like the jail was built wrong most correctional places have wire fence so you can’t jump off the tear
