Home Invasion

According to scanner traffic, about 1:25 p.m. a report was made that a robber invaded a home in downtown Hayfork. The suspect, who reportedly had a handgun, allegedly tied up the residents and ransacked two rooms.

He then fled wearing gray clothing and black gloves.

I don’t grow dope, it is the season, and it’s hard to mediate these clandestine transactions

There’s nothing in the article that says it’s pot related.

Well if the County would fund more Deputy positions it would help. The few that they have can’t be everywhere at once.

Nobody in Trinity county pays taxes on the dope they grow, and they cause 99% of the sheriff department calls, How can they hire more deputies?

Actually, the majority of the calls are not for cannabis, they are domestic violence, and narcotics related. Cannabis is not a narcotic.

Meth and Opiod addicts are where you should be focusing your comments at.

Yes there are cannabis related calls, but it isn’t 99% of the Sheriff’s workload.

Yet no one can honestly say that pot related calls are not burdensome and, if people followed the law, unnecessary. That meth is worse does not make pot good. Being victimized does not confer innocence either.

Maybe it’s just this site’s orientation but it does seem like virtually every home invasion involves demands for pot.

Gray clothing and black gloves huh? That’ll get him caught in a hurry. How bout age, height, race and other relevant details that might actually help identify the perp? Can I assume that since “he” fled the seen it was a male? I’m triggered. That’s gender bias. How do you know he doesn’t identify as a woman?

I know it’s not your doing, it’s probably the sheriff’s office protocol.

The pot is not the problem. It’s the pieces of s*** that want to steal it. We have to be more clandestine than ever before. And be careful who you pick as your friends.
